Showing up for others while navigating personal, family, and collective challenges can be difficult. GetSomeJoy’s Community Mental Health Check-Ins are casual, joy-infused monthly or quarterly forums that offer space to unpack and process the impact of our work and center individual, role-related, and community wellness through group discussion, collaboration, and practical creative wellness strategies.

These virtual or in-person sessions offer team members, caregivers, leaders, learners, or clients a chance to take off their superhero capes, acknowledge what's going well and not so well, and tap into joy and creativity.

Spreading joy @ NMAC’s regional cbo leadership summit series

In the fall of 2025, GetSomeJoy launched a partnership with NMAC, a leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS, to bring sustainable creative wellness strategies and joy to their regional CBO leadership conference series in Houston, Oakland, Philadelphia, and Detroit.
