what is a peer
support group?

GetSomeJoy’s Peer Support Groups are free, peer-led spaces for adults with experiences navigating mental health or substance use challenges.

Attendees can connect with others who understand, receive support and accountability, discuss coping + creative wellness strategies, and offer each other hope.

Peer Support Groups will meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

Our Group Facilitators are trained Peer Support Specialists with demonstrated recovery from mental health challenges.

  • All spaces are free, virtual, confidential, and led by trained peers
